Their toughness and ability to survive on minimal resources made them essential to cattle drives, securing their place in Western history. Their endurance, independence, and distinctive long horns became a true symbol of the pioneering spirit and the American frontier.
 

Longhorns aren’t just built for the West—they do surprisingly well in places like here in North Carolina. Our herd has adapted quite well, handling heat, humidity, and diverse grazing conditions with ease. Despite their rugged history, Longhorns are also known for their gentle temperament, making them surprisingly calm and easy to handle.
